Susan Hansen
James Spurway
James joined Resimac in May 2024 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for providing the leadership and financial management necessary for Resimac to achieve its strategic priorities. James has more than 20 years' of experience in financial services that he gained both locally and overseas. Before joining Resimac, James had several senior roles at Challenger Limited such as CFO for Challenger Bank and Group General Manager of Finance, and also worked with HSBC in London and KPMG Sydney. James has a lot of experience working in complex organisations and doing digital transformation projects. James has a Bachelor of Business, Accounting & Finance, is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and has the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. James also completed the General Management program at Harvard Business School and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Andrew Marsden
Andrew joined Resimac’s Treasury team in 2004 and oversees the funding and capital programme. Andrew has a long association with Resimac, initially as the company's securitisation banker while working in the Global Securitised Markets team at Citigroup. At Citi, Andrew managed the off-balance sheet securitisation conduit providing wholesale financing for a mix of trade receivables borrowers, mortgage warehouse programmes, including Resimac’s, and a proprietary investment portfolio of RMBS. Andrew is a Responsible Manager for Resimac Limited’s Australian Financial Services Licence.
Majid Muhammad
Majid joined Resimac in 2019 with close to two decades of experience in the IT industry. Prior to Resimac, Majid was the General Manager of Strategy and Transformation at RACQ, where he led the launch of RACQ Bank. Having been involved in financial services and insurance industry since 2005, Majid has held senior positions in Westpac Bank (Head of IT Strategy and Architecture) and St. George Bank (Head of Architecture). Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Majid was involved in R&D and product development for Canon.
Pete Lirantzis
Pete joined Resimac in 2024 and is responsible for setting strategy and driving innovation across the Group including managing our New Zealand business. With over 30 years’ experience of senior leadership, including CEO, COO, and CIO roles at an ASX200 listed company, Pete's career journey includes founding and leading a fintech startup, as CEO of Thornmoney, and contributing as a non-executive director to multiple start-ups. Pete also has a strong operational background, he has managed product technology, service innovation, and the integration of AI and digital advancements. His track record includes orchestrating numerous successful mergers and acquisitions, driven growth strategies, revitalised corporate cultures, and spearheading transformative initiatives that have consistently translated into enhanced customer experiences and robust growth, even within challenging and highly regulated sectors.
General Management Group
Daniel Carde
Daniel joined Resimac in 2006 and as General Manager Distribution, oversees the distribution of our mortgage products in the Direct, Broker and Wholesale channels. Prior to joining Resimac, Daniel held various positions with Citibank, ME Bank and Bank of Queensland and has over 25 years’ experience in Banking and Finance. Daniel is graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a Responsible Manager for Resimac Limited’s Australian Credit Licence.
Chris Paterson
With more than 15 years’ experience within the business as a BDM, business analyst, and, most recently, heading up product and commercial operations, Chris brings deep expertise to the role of General Manager Distribution. He has been working closely with direct, broker and wholesale distribution to develop products tailored to the various audiences for more than a decade,and has been heavily involved in the implementation of technology solutions to streamline workflows. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts – Communications from Western Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Finance and Mortgage Broking).
Anny Chen
Anny joined Resimac’s Treasury team in 2019 and has responsibility for the Group’s funding and capital programme. Prior to joining Resimac, Anny gained extensive experience advising issuers, including Resimac and other participants, in connection with domestic and offshore securitisation. She also covered bond and debt capital markets transactions as a practising lawyer in senior roles at King & Wood Mallesons. Anny holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Laws from the University of Sydney. Anny is a Responsible Manager for Resimac Limited’s Australian Financial Services Licence.
Michael Moloney
Michael Moloney joined the Resimac Group in 2018 as Head of Strategic Acquisitions. His current role is General Manager, Resimac Asset Finance and he continues to have oversight of Resimac’s M&A activity. Prior to joining Resimac, Michael commenced his career as a Corporate Accountant, after which followed a 23-year banking career that included 14 years at Westpac as a Senior Structured Financier and FIG banker. Michael has a Bachelor of Business from QUT, completed his CPA studies in 1996, has been a CFA Charterholder since 2001, and is an Australian Credit Licences Responsible Manager.
